Angelyn Dale and Steven Broussard, shareholders in Hall Estill's Employment Law practice, will present an update to employment law for 2014 in the engaging style of a Saturday Night Live newscast. The format will be Q&A style with them taking on the role of employer and attorney to bring levity to what kind at times be very serious legal issues. Topics will include the new Oklahoma Worker's Compensation law, employment benefits, and more.  HR professionals will receive an overview of key (old and new) issues to navigate the minefield of employment law for their organizations.

Steven A. Broussard, a shareholder in the Tulsa office and member of the firm's Board of Directors and Executive Committee, received his B.S. in Economics in 1984 from Vanderbilt University. He attended the University of Tulsa College of Law as an Ungerman Scholar and received his J.D. in 1988. While at the University of Tulsa he also served as staff member on The Energy Law Journal. In addition to his extensive employment litigation work, Mr. Broussard provides employment counseling and advice to employers, managers, and human resources professionals.

Angelyn Dale is a Shareholder in the Tulsa office and has been a practicing attorney for nearly 30 years. She received a B.B.A. in Statistics, with high honors, from the University of Oklahoma in 1981 and her J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1984, where she was an editor on the Journal of Air Law and Commerce Law Review.  Ms. Dale's primary practice is in the field of Employment Law. Her representation for clients includes: successfully defending employers and supervisors in employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings in both state and federal courts and agencies; drafting policies and procedures for companies' employment related issues; advising management and human resources professionals on hiring, firing and managing personnel; conducting investigations into allegations regarding work place practices and events and presenting management and staff training in a wide variety of employment related topics.
