December Learning Lab

Simple Project Management

Categories: TAHRA Learning Lab

Presented by Alan Vanderburg
The Bama Companies

Have you ever been caught in the weeds of "Project" at work? In this session, you will learn how to use a step-by-step process called "Project Roadmap" to create clear direction for current and future projects.

Attendees will find the session on simple project management to be useful in creating new projects or re-scoping current projects. Attendees will use a simple IBR (Intent, Behavior, Result) tool to create a focused project plan that can be executed efficiently and effectively.  Attendees will have a "Hands on" experience in which they will use the step by step process on one of their current projects.  During the workshop, attendees will create a plan for engaging team members and communicating the status of their project to all levels of the organization. With a revised project plan in hand, attendees will be ready to successfully deploy a project in their workplace.

Learning Objectives:

  • Simple understanding of the Project Management tool
  • Teaching methods on how to teach others how to use the Project Management tool
  • A successful implementation strategy for Project Management for all levels of projects in the workplace
