Hillcrest Medical Center (HMC) is looking to recruit a Manager to their HR department. Come be a part of our HMC team! This role will report to the Director of Talent Management. Hillcrest Medical Center is a 620-bed hospital with over 2400 employees and one of Oklahoma’s most widely respected and acclaimed hospitals.

The Manager of HR Operations will provide operational and technical leadership support to Human Resources and Employee Health Services team; which is accountable for ensuring adherence to federal and state law, regulatory compliance and providing exceptional customer service to the organization.

  • Plan staffing within the operational side of the HR department.
  • Oversee the performance management process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback and performance development planning.
  • Develops, recommends and implements Human Resources policies.
  • Plan, evaluate and improve the efficiency of HR/EHS processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency and output.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, leave and occupational health programs in accordance with Division and Corporate HR.
  • Coach, mentor and develop staff. Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals by providing oversight and direction.

Qualifications/Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • 3-5 years progressive HR experience; healthcare preferred.

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HRM or related field.
  • Master’s preferred.
  • PHR/SHRM CP or SPHR/SHRM SCP required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of state and federal laws that influence HR.
  • Knowledge of HR functions such as compensation, benefits and employee relations.
  • Ability to examine procedures, design new strategies, and successfully implement programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/mentor in a team environment where collaboration, motivation and the knowledge transfer process is critical to success.
