TAHRA Board of Directors



With over 20 years experience in the human resources and organization development field, Heidi has facilitated and led people through all types of change. She has a Master's degree in human relations from the University of Oklahoma and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Heidi Hartman is currently CEO of LunaSol Consulting, a firm that is committed to helping unleash the human potential of their clients. Some of the industries she has worked with include; oil and gas, retail, architecture, insurance, engineering, government and not for profit. LunaSol has designed and delivered learning and human resources solutions for executives, managers and employees. Heidi incorporates a passion for people with the desire to see organizations grow and improve.

Her expertise covers a broad spectrum of strategic planning, leadership development, coaching, organizational development, employee relations, change management, communication, EEOC claims, career transition/outplacement services, and teambuilding. Her customized interactive learning solutions provide clients with tools and key concepts for growth. Heidi is a certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Insights Learning & Development accredited facilitator and American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) coach.

Nancy started with the YMCA in 1984 as a volunteer basketball coach for 2nd and 3rd graders.  After graduating from Mississippi University for Women she worked for YMCA's in North Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, California, and now Oklahoma.   Nancy is the VP of Leadership for the YMCA of Greater Tulsa and handles HR, Risk Management, and staff development.  Her passion lies in staff development and specifically developing young staff into great leaders.

In May 2008 Nancy finished her Master's Degree from Springfield College in Organizational Management & Leadership.  Her graduate project was on retaining the generations through supervision where she did research for two years on the four generations at work, specifically in the YMCA. 

Due to her love for adventure and activity, Nancy has traveled extensively reaching 5 continents and helping to establish YMCA partnerships in Zimbabwe and Latvia.  Nancy also enjoys all types of sports and continues to play softball and participate in sprint triathlons.

Michelle Lehman has over 20 years of experience in human resources including employee relations, consulting, performance improvement strategies, leadership and employee development training programs. She has partnered with hundreds of successful Oklahoma companies to help them with their staffing, recruitment, and executive searches.

Michelle is the Managing Partner of STAFF2000 | Millennium Personnel, Inc., a certified Woman-Owned Recruiting and HR consulting firm based in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, specializing in Human Resources, Administration, Medical and Accounting. Recruiting is a great way to stay current on the ever-changing employment laws and trends in the staffing and talent acquisition arena.

She joined the TAHRA Board in 2012 and is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She currently serves on the Board of the Oklahoma Human Resource Conference (OKHR) as the Vendor Chair and has held this position for the past three years.

Jeffery Beyer has been with Jenks Public Schools for 10 years and is an Executive Administrator in the Human Resources department.  He has his bachelors from Oklahoma Baptist University, and his Masters from Oklahoma State University.  Jeff has served on the programs committee for the past 2 years.

Kristi Spaethe has been in the Human Resources profession for 10 years after earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Human Resources Development option from Northeastern State University. Her past Human Resources experience includes companies such as QuikTrip and NORDAM and SBS Industries. She currently serves as the Human Resources Manager for Cytec Industries where she is responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources function. Kristi earned her PHR in December, 2014 and her SHRM-CP in January of 2015.

Kristi is very active with the Family and Children's Services program, Women in Recovery, where she regularly performs training and employment related services. Prior to serving in her current role with TAHRA, Kristi served as a volunteer on the Membership Committee.

Brandon has more than 20 years of experience in HR and Business Management and is currently the HR Operations Leader for North America at SPX Corporation.  Brandon is also an adjunct professor at St. Gregory's University where he teaches management, leadership and HR classes.

Previous roles included Sr. HR Generalist for Whirlpool's Tulsa division and VP Branch Manager for BOK. Brandon is a certified Senior, Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and a SHRM member.

In his career, Brandon has a gained wide breadth of knowledge and experience working with business leaders and their employees. Some of his responsibilities include organizational development, organizational design and effectivenss, speaker, communications, talent acquisition, training and talent development, facilitation, benefits and compensation analyses, and employee relations.

Brandon received both his MBA and BS in Management from Oklahoma State University.

Rachel is a shareholder in the Tulsa, Oklahoma Law Firm of Newton, O'Connor, Turner & Ketchum, where she represents clients in all areas of Labor and Employment Law, including providing litigation, counseling and training services. Rachel has been named a "Rising Star" in Oklahoma by Super Lawyers magazine.   

Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, and her Law Degree, with honors, from the University of Oklahoma.   She is a member of TAHRA and the Oklahoma and Tulsa County Bar Associations, and has served in leadership positions in other Human Resources associations.   

Rachel is admitted to practice law in all State Courts in Oklahoma, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Rachel and her husband, Robert, are blessed with 3 children, are active in their local church and reside in Broken Arrow.

Dixie Agostino is an OSU graduate with her SPHR & CPC certifications.  She has spend most of the last decade in recruitment and the sourcing, evaluation & preboarding of the top level of talent.  Dixie is currently the Chief Talent Officer at Switchgear Search & Recruiting, which specializes in finding amazing candidates for Tulsa's best companies.  She and her husband Anthony have three whip-smart, sassy daughters and a brilliant teenage son.

Justice Waidner Smith is the Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager for ONEOK. Prior to joining the ONEOK team, she worked for five years as the Director of Human Resources at YWCA Tulsa, and as the Co-Director of the Inclusion Institute, YWCA Tulsa's diversity and community education arm.

Professionally, Justice has worked for inclusion efforts for more than a decade. She brings to her work experience in the implementation of strategic diversity and inclusion initiatives; background in organizational development, change management, intercultural communication, and training design and facilitation; as well as subject matter expertise on a multitude of diversity issues. In 2013, Justice completed her Master's degree in Intercultural Leadership and Management from the School for International Training Graduate Institute in Vermont. Her thesis was entitled, "Diversity and Inclusion: Laying the Foundation for Successful Organizational Culture Change."

Justice's involvement with TAHRA dates back to 2009 when she co-facilitated the Diversity Committee's year-long initiative, "Beyond Diversity 101: A Journey into Hard Conversations." She also served on the Steering Committee for the 2010 Return on Inclusion Summit. Most recently, she has served TAHRA as a member of the Board of Directors. From 2011-2013, she was at the helm of our Community Relations initiatives. Through her work in that role, Justice greatly grew our mock interview partnership with Goodwill Industries and was selected as their inaugural "Hero Award" recipient in 2011. In 2014, Justice became TAHRA's Vice President of Diversity and chaired our largest Return on Inclusion Summit in the event's five year history. Justice received TAHRA's "Outstanding New Professional Award" in 2013.

Named by Tulsa People and Tulsa Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 recipient, Justice is active in community initiatives throughout the city. She serves on the Board of Directors of Camp Fire Green Country, Teach for America and The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges. She also is a member of the Goodwill Business Advisory Council and the YMCA HR & Leadership Advisory Council. She is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa, and a member of SHRM, American Society of Training and Development, Tulsa Young Professionals, United Way Women's Leadership Council and United Way Emerging Leaders Society.

Charla Isbell serves as a Manager of Human Resources at The Williams Companies, overseeing a team of HR business partners dedicated to supporting Williams' Corporate Services. Charla graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's of science degree in business education and has completed the executive programs of the Corporate Executive Board's Human Resource Leadership Academy and the Coach Certification Program at the Center for Creative Leadership.

She has been a member of the Tulsa Area Human Resources Association since 2000, Society of Human Resources Management since 1998 and represents Williams as a member of the Tulsa Area United Way Women's Resources group.  Additionally, she also served on the Oklahoma State HR Council as the Director of Diversity in 2010 and is a member of the Women's Energy Network of Greater Oklahoma and a board member of Junior Achievement of Oklahoma.

Donna is the Compensation Analyst for T.D. Williamson, Inc. In her current role, Donna researches, analyzes and administers compensation programs. She has over 15 years of human resource experiences. She previously held the roles of Senior Compensation Analyst at Helmerich & Payne, Inc. and HR Consultant III - Compensation at ONEOK.

She is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), WorldatWork (The Total Rewards Association), and TAHRA.  She has served on past TAHRA Board of Directors as SHRM Foundation (2013) and Treasurer (2011, 2012 and 2014). Donna holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and has completed her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certifications.

Barbara Ware is with AAA, in the Learning and Development group focusing on training and Organizational Development as a Corporate Trainer. She has been a member of TAHRA since 2011 and served as the VP of Diversity for the board in 2012. Barbara has served as a committee member for TAHRA including the Annual Return on Inclusion Summit. She also has supported the TAHRA Diversity Committee's year-long initiative, "Beyond Diversity 101: A Journey into Hard Conversations." Barbara is SHRM certified as Diversity Practitioner of the 21st Century and attended Northeastern State University.



Jackie Evins has more than 25 years of experience in HR and Business Management. Jackie earned her Bachelor's degree in Business from Saint Gregory's University (with an Associate in Accounting). Her past experience includes Assistant Controller for Arrow Engine Company and she currently serves as the Sr. HR Generalist for Arrow where some of her responsibilities include HR planning and development, recruitment, training, communications, benefits and compensation, and employee relations. She is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and TAHRA, earning her PHR in June 2006 and her SHRM-CP in 2015. Jackie has served on the TAHRA Registration Committee, the TAHRA Golf Committee, the TAHRA Membership Committee, as SHRM Foundation Chair, and currently as Board Member At Large - Fundraising Chair.

Denise Reid is the Director of Talent Strategies with the Tulsa Regional Chamber and possesses 15+ years of experience including recruiting and workforce development and previously managed recruiting for Vanguard Car Rental USA, a 9,000+ employee company. Denise's role with the Tulsa Chamber focuses on the talent pipeline to include growth, retention and the attraction of a diverse and skilled workforce ensuring the success of the business community and growth of the economy. She also manages the Chamber's diversity business program; Mosaic. She collaborates with community leaders to develop program initiatives tied to business, education, workforce training, diversity, inclusion, sustainability and leadership development.

Denise is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Tulsa Area Human Resources Association (TAHRA), CEOs for Cities and Tulsa Area Diversity Professionals Network and serves on several boards to include Tulsa Area Human Resource Association, Leadership Tulsa, Sustainable Tulsa, Community Service Council and Workforce Tulsa. She was also named one of Tulsa Business Journal's Women of Distinction in 2010 and received the 2012 TAHRA President's Award.



Julie joined TAHRA in 2008 as our Chapter Management Professional (CMP). Julie provides administrative support to the members and Board of Directors of TAHRA. This includes maintenance of financial records and membership information as well as the day to day responsibilities of a volunteer lead organization. Her most important job, however, is to serve the membership of TAHRA and assist them with any questions or needs they may have.
