Kristi Spaethe has over 10 years’ experience in the Human Resources field in a variety of roles and capacities. Kristi currently serves as the Human Resources Manager at Ducommun Inc. and has also served in similar roles with local companies such as QuikTrip, Solvay, NORDAM and SBS Industries.
Kristi earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Human Resources Development option and also holds the PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.
Previously, Kristi has served on the TAHRA Board as the Hospitality chair and as the VP of Membership. This will be her 5th year to serve on the board.
Dixie Agostino has spent five years on the TAHRA board as HRCI Chair and VP of Public Relations. Dixie will be the 2018-2019 Oklahoma State Council for Human Resource Management (OKHR) Membership Chair and holds her SHRM-SCP, SPHR and CPC certifications.
As President of Switchgear Search and Recruiting, she is active in the Tulsa business community and mentors for startup incubators BetaBlox and 36 Degree North. She is active in the Tulsa Small Business Connection’s advisory committee and is the Chair of the newly created Women Business Leaders committee. Dixie has been involved with the Northeastern Oklahoma chapter of Society of Women Engineers (SWE) as their VP of Professional Development and has participated in the United Way’s Live United Network steering committee. Dixie has a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Oklahoma State University.
Nancy is the Chief Learning Officer for the YMCA of Greater Tulsa and handles HR, Risk Management, and staff development. She is also a national speaker and member of Exceptional Leaders Lab. She has spoken to a variety of companies including Oklahoma State University, Meridian Technology Center, Parent Child Center of Tulsa, YMCA's from coast to coast, ONEOK, Littlefield Advertising Agency, and others. Her passion lies in staff development and specifically developing young staff into great leaders.
In May 2008 Nancy finished her Master’s Degree from Springfield College in Organizational Management and Leadership. Her graduate project was on retaining the generations through supervision where she did research for two years on the four generations at work. She has continued her research of the generations and most recently the 5th generation that is just starting to enter the workforce.
Due to her love for adventure and activity, Nancy has traveled extensively reaching 5 continents and helping to establish YMCA partnerships in Zimbabwe and Latvia. Nancy also enjoys all types of sports and continues to participate in sprint, Olympic and Half Ironman triathlons.
A native Oklahoman, Lance grew up the son of a coach in a small community. A natural born competitor, he excelled in sports at the high school level and attended college at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK, earning a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. From there, Lance embarked on a career in insurance—starting in customer service then going to sales, business development, and territory management—before becoming a successful employee benefits consultant.
During his experiences, Lance gained tremendous insight into the challenges and complexities organizations face in their day-to-day operations. He experienced first-hand cultures which were energized and excited about their purpose for doing business and many who faced challenges. The desire to improve the relationship between organizations and their employees is what ultimately attracted Lance to lead the efforts of O.C. Tanner throughout Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Lance is married with two children, and enjoys networking, spending time with family, and outdoor activities such as golf. He has been a member of SHRM and TAHRA for three years.
Alyse McDaniel has been in the Human Resources and staffing profession for over 5 years. Alyse earned her Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She currently serves as the office manager and benefits coordinator for Key Personnel where she is responsible for administering all benefits to their internal and temporary staff.
Alyse supports and has been involved with programs such as New Hope and the Peirce Phillips Charity event as well as a yearly participant in the United Way Day of Caring. She earned her CSP from the American Staffing Association in 2012.
Brandon has more than 20 years of experience in HR and Business Management and is currently the HR Operations Leader for North America at SPX Corporation. Brandon is also an adjunct professor at St. Gregory's University where he teaches management, leadership and HR classes.
Previous roles included Sr. HR Generalist for Whirlpool's Tulsa division and VP Branch Manager for BOK. Brandon is a certified Senior, Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and a SHRM member.
In his career, Brandon has a gained wide breadth of knowledge and experience working with business leaders and their employees. Some of his responsibilities include organizational development, organizational design and effectiveness, speaker, communications, talent acquisition, training and talent development, facilitation, benefits and compensation analyses, and employee relations.
Brandon received both his MBA and BS in Management from Oklahoma State University.
Jacob S. Crawford is an attorney with the Tulsa firm of McAfee & Taft, where he represents firm clients in all areas of labor and employment law, including providing litigation, counseling and training services. Over the past several years, Jake has spoken regularly at the Tulsa Area Human Resources Association’s Employment Law and Practices Seminar.
Jake earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from the University of Oklahoma and went on to graduate summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He was also a Comfort Scholarship recipient and a member of the Oklahoma Law Review. While in law school, Jake was the recipient of several academic honors, including highest class grade awards in Antitrust I & II, Bankruptcy, Equal Employment Opportunity, Family Law, Legal Research and Writing, Native American Natural Resources, Property, and Trial Techniques.
Jake is a member of the Oklahoma and Tulsa County Bar associations and is admitted to practice law in all state courts in Oklahoma and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma.
Jackie Yoken began her career in human resources in 2011. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in human relations, with a special emphasis in organizational development. Ms. Yoken is currently the HR Manager at Brief Media, a media and publishing company in Tulsa that provides small-animal veterinary teams with print and digital content.
Jackie earned her SHRM-CP in 2016 and in 2017 was selected by HR Magazine and the SHRM membership department to represent the top 30 millennials leading HR into the future.

Ashley is the founding director of LEAD North, leading the program’s transition from North Tulsa Development Council (NTDC) in the fall of 2015. Prior to this appointment, Ashley served as Managing Director of Teacher Leadership Development at Teach For America – Oklahoma. In addition to leading a team of instructional coaches toward outcomes, Ashley designed and facilitated diversity, equity, and Inclusion learning experiences for the Oklahoma corps from 2014-2016.
She began her career as a 2007 Teach For America corps member in Houston. Ashley continued her work in ensuring students received an excellent education by serving as the founding Dean of Students at YES Prep Brays Oaks. Ashley studied Letters at the University of Oklahoma and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Human Relations with an emphasis in Organizational Dynamics and Diversity & Development at OU-Tulsa.
She currently serves on the board for Tulsa Legacy Charter Schools as the chair of Teaching & Learning as well as the Brady Heights Neighborhood Association Board of Directors. She is a member of Tulsa Area United Way’s neXtulsa Executive Non-Profit Executive Leadership Class 2 and the Junior League of Tulsa. She is the chair of the Second Grade Art Program at Hawthorne Elementary. Ashley is a certified ZUMBA instructor for YMCA Tulsa and teaches Sunday school at First United Methodist Church. She resides in Tulsa with her husband and son.
Stefan Mecke is a business & employment Attorney who works with and assists companies, management, HR professionals and front-line supervisors with the difficult aspects of being an employer and provides assistance with counseling, training, and implementation of best practices for reducing risk, avoiding litigation and maintaining a productive and engaged workforce.
Stefan shares practical experiences gained from over a decade of leadership within a large multi-national entertainment and media company and over a decade practicing law for local businesses. Stefan consults with employers on day-to-day issues, including interviewing & hiring, discipline & termination, employment & non-solicitation agreements, workplace policies & handbooks, drug & alcohol testing and control plans, employee classification, internal investigations, anti-harassment & anti-discrimination, reductions in force, senior executive retirement plans (SERPs), and severance programs.
Stefan also advises, trains and assists employers outside of the courtroom to help them avoid risk and foster a motivated workforce and provides advice and assistance on design, review, and updating of employee handbooks, policies & procedures, ADAAA compliance, FMLA compliance, EEOC & NLRB driven policies & procedures, wage & hour exemption compliance, and unemployment compensation. Stefan’s law practice has provided him the opportunity to assist a wide variety of local business such as HOAs, non-profits, start-up entrepreneurs, Native American Tribes and established businesses in areas such as accounting, banking, title & abstracting, manufacturing, distribution, construction, electric cooperative/electric utility, government defense and business services. Stefan reviews and drafts employment contracts; including non-compete agreements, trade secrets, and confidentiality agreements; severance agreements, retention agreements and other employment-related contracts.
Donna is the Compensation Analyst for Gateway Mortgage Group. In her current role, Donna researches, analyzes, and administers compensation programs. She has over 18 years of human resource experiences. She previously held the role of Senior Compensation Analyst at T.D. Williamson. She is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), WorldatWork (The Total Rewards Association), and TAHRA. She has served on past TAHRA Board of Directors since 2011. Donna was born and raised in Oklahoma and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. She has completed her Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certifications
Kari Dean has been an integral member of the Tulsa Shared Service Center in the Human Resource's team for over 10 years and is presently the Talent Acquisition Manager for EAN Services, LLC. Kari started in the Management Trainee program with Enterprise in 2000 and worked her way up to a Branch Manager position, which opened new areas of opportunity for her. In 2005, Kari found a new passion when she was promoted to Talent Acquisition Supervisor, where she was challenged with finding top talent to fill new and existing spots for a growing market. In 2014, Kari formed the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Tulsa Shared Services Center. Kari earned her PHR in May 2012 and earned SHRM-CP in 2015. She has been a member of Tulsa Area Human Resource Association since 2010.
Jacci Green has over 18 years of human resources experience and is currently a Human Resources Business Partner for Williams. Previous employers include QuikTrip Corporation and Samson Resources. Jacci’s diverse background is comprised of experience with recruiting, training & development, workers compensation, retirement planning, compensation & salary management and employee relations. She is an Oklahoma State University graduate with education including: BS in Marketing, MS in Education (emphasis Workplace Learning and Organizational Performance), as well as current SPHR, and SHRM-SCP certifications. Jacci is a founding board member of Higher Life Ministries and proud advocate for the National MS Society.
Matthew has 8 years’ experience in business development, vendor relations, and purchasing and is currently the Director of Business Development for IMWell Health. Matthew has spent the last 5 years in Tulsa working with Human Resource professionals. His current focus is helping employers reduce and manage healthcare costs, improve health and productivity of employees and increase the satisfaction of working for the organization. Previously he worked with the Tulsa Area United Way with HR professionals on employee engagement, recognition, professional development, and philanthropy. Matthew received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas. He has a wonderful wife (Sydnee) and three children under 5. He is currently a member of SHRM, OCHRS, TAHRA, and NOARK, as well as the Tulsa Area United Way-Emerging Leaders Society. He is also a member of TYPRO's and has previously served on the board of the Route 66 Marathon.
Julie joined TAHRA in 2008 as our Chapter Management Professional (CMP). Julie provides administrative support to the members and Board of Directors of TAHRA. This includes maintenance of financial records and membership information as well as the day to day responsibilities of a volunteer lead organization. Her most important job, however, is to serve the membership of TAHRA and assist them with any questions or needs they may have.
Brittany is a recent graduate of Oklahoma State University where she earned her Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Science. She is currently serving as a Recruiting Specialist for Barracuda Staffing; working with industries including manufacturing, oil, and gas, accounting, construction and more. She specializes in helping Tulsa Area companies find top talent as well as helping prepare Tulsa's workforce to be leading professionals. Brittany is currently working towards her PHR and she is looking forward to continuing to diversify her human resources knowledge. Being a recent graduate she is eager to bring a fresh new perspective to the College Relations Committee. In her free time, she can be found enjoying outdoor actives with her rescue dogs and her husband or cheering on the OSU Cowboys!!
Melissa Lockhart, SPHR, SHRM-CP serves as the Human Resources Director for APSCO and has approximately 10 years of HR management experience in the industries of manufacturing, engineering, non-profit and hospitality industries. She also has an extensive background in the areas of domestic violence and sexual assault. Melissa is a native of Owasso, OK where she graduated high school and still lives today. She received her Bachelor’s of Social Sciences and is a certified Domestic & Sexual Violence Response Professional (CDSVRP), and also holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification through HRCI and her SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification through SHRM. Melissa has been a member of SHRM and TAHRA since 2008 and TEEOCA (Tulsa Equal Employment Opportunity Coordinator Association) since 2015. Melissa serves on the Oklahoma State Chamber Human Resources & Labor Law Policy Committee and previously was nominated by the Oklahoma Attorney General to sit on the Oklahoma Domestic Violence Fatality Review Board. Melissa and her husband, Chuck, have 3 ornery and hilarious sons: Blythe, Landon, and Karsen.
Jill Norman is currently the Human Resources Manager for Youth Services of Tulsa.
Jill is a native of Broken Arrow and graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1987, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and a certificate in Legal Studies from The University of Tulsa in 1998 and completed a Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in 2001, also from The University of Tulsa.
Her background in Industrial/Organizational Psychology has afforded her opportunities to work in various disciplines within organizations, however, Human Resources and Organizational Development has been her specialty for more than 18 years.
Jill is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, the Workforce Readiness Chair for the Tulsa Area Human Resources Association, American Psychological Association, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, President of the Friends of the M.e.t, as well as, President of the Oklahoma Performing Arts Board of Directors.
She and her husband Clay have been married for 25 years and have 3 sons, Jacob, Ryan, and Matthew.
Ryan has over 17 years of experience in a wide range of Human Resources functions. He is currently Director of Human Resources for CAP Tulsa. In his current role, Ryan is responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources including recruitment & retention, employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation, benefits, HRIS, HR policy & procedures and employment laws. Previous roles included VP, Corporate Benefits and Employee Relations for BOK Financial Corporation, Director of Benefits for Dollar Thrifty and Benefits Manager for Chico’s, White House Black Market and Soma. Ryan has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Northeastern State University and currently holds the following HR certifications: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CBP, CCP. Ryan also serves on the Advisory Council for the College of Business and Technology at Northeastern State University.
Shae is the Social Media Recruiter at US Beef Corporation. She graduated from Langston University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, where she taught middle school for eight years prior to moving into the Human Resources profession. In her current role, she supports and recruits for over 150 restaurants in six regions across four states while continuing to increase US Beef’s social media presence. She has over 10 years’ Human Resources experience as a Recruiter in the restaurant, construction, hospitality, and gaming industries.
Shae completed her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications in 2011 and 2016, respectively. She has been a member of TARHA for several years, and is currently serving as a TAHRA Ambassador to welcome new members and promote new memberships.
Shae is passionate about helping others better their career. She supports and has been involved with Youth Services of Tulsa and Junior Achievement of Oklahoma.
