Oklahoma will soon face a critical shortage in the number of skilled workers available to fill in-demand jobs and grow the state's economy. Registered Apprenticeship provides employers with the opportunity to build their ideal workforce for the jobs of today and tomorrow. At this lab you will be able to:

  1. Define Registered Apprenticeship
  2. Identify the components of Registered Apprenticeship
  3. Describe the benefits of Registered Apprenticeship
  4. Evaluate workforce needs to determine if Registered Apprenticeship is a good fit

Jenna Morey is the Director of Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning for the Oklahoma Office of Workforce Development. In this role, Jenna spearheads the effort to expand and diversify work-based learning opportunities in our state and meet the 2020 “Earn and Learn” goal, which seeks to increase the number of work-based learning opportunities to 20,000 by 2020. Prior to joining OOWD, Jenna worked on various international development projects in Indonesia, Afghanistan and Switzerland.
