Why It’s Better to Eat Twinkies Together than Broccoli Alone

Categories: TAHRA Learning Lab
Presented by Chris Zervas

Loneliness is an epidemic in the workplace. It’s impacting you, your staff and your company. Yet, what does unity and community look like inside (and outside) the workplace? We are wired to enjoy the power and benefits of community. Our time together will focus on producing positive results in the HR leader’s personal and corporate health.

HR leaders will:

  • Apply healthy accountability with other HR leaders.
  • Determine changes needed in their community for their employee health.
  • Understand why community is critical for employee retention.
  • Apply practical steps for managing themselves toward healthy community.

Chris Zervas helps busy leaders improve employee engagement and elevate their organization’s bottom line by enhancing their communication and leadership skills.

“Profound”, “engaging” and “fun” are words audiences often use to describe his programs, which are designed to help increase efficiency, productivity, and employee retention.

Chris empowers leaders to focus on relational, rather than transactional, communication and, according to his clients, has added value worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

He is the author of the book, Bomb-Proof Constructive Feedback, which guides leaders through day-to-day leadership principles and provides a decision tree to help successfully deliver difficult conversations.

He has served two college communication faculties, worked in fundraising for more than 10 years and has been trained in conflict resolution through offices of the Supreme Court of Oklahoma. More information about his keynote speaking, employee development and coaching can be found at ChrisZervas.com.

Chris is a Cherokee Citizen and lives in Oklahoma with his wife and five children.
