Detailed Description:
What You'll Do
As an HR Business Partner at Thrive, youll be both a trusted advisor and a hands-on problem solver for our clients. In this role, you will:
- Partner with small and mid-sized businesses across diverse industries to deliver HR expertise in recruiting, compliance, employee relations, and more.
- Coach managers, supervisors, and business leaders on HR and compliance topics, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of Thrives HRIS platform, train clients on payroll, onboarding, timekeeping, and employee engagement tools.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day HR operational issues like login access, onboarding needs, and payroll processing questions.
- Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures, guiding clients through employee relations challenges with practical solutions.
- Review and update client job descriptions, employee handbooks, and workplace policies.
- Deliver engaging trainings and seminars on HR and compliance topics, tailored to client needs.
- Assist clients with sensitive issues like leaves of absence, workers compensation, benefits, and disability accommodations.
- Stay up to date on HR laws and trends, helping clients understand and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Visit client sites, build strong relationships, and recommend improvements to processes, policies, and culture.

Qualifications/Requirements
What We're Looking For
You’re the right fit if you thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment where adaptability is key. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (required).
- HR certification preferred.
- 3+ years of related HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PEO, payroll, or HRIS experience (bonus points if you know iSolved).
- Exceptional communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and influence decision-making.
- A service-first mindset and the ability to balance both high-level strategy and day-to-day HR tasks.
- A willingness to work onsite in our Tulsa office and visit client locations as needed.
