Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence in Oklahoma

Categories: TAHRA Learning Lab

Presented by Mychaela Pettit

In today's society, human trafficking is a deeply concerning issue that is on the rise in our state and country. Human Resources professionals play a crucial role in the fight against human trafficking within organizations. Join us for this lab, developed by The Spring, to learn what human trafficking is, how to recognize, prevent, and address it in the workplace. Also, the presentation will include methods to establish safe environments, ways to support victims, and uphold ethical standards in an effort to confront modern day slavery.

At this lab you will learn:

  • How to identify signs of human trafficking
  • What resources are available in our state for victims
  • Strategies to prevent human trafficking in the workplace
