Meeting Culture Matters: Strengthen Your Workplace Relationships with Inclusive Meetings

Categories: TAHRA Learning Lab

Presented by Linda Jenkins, Owner, Jenkins Consulting Group

The location for this event has changed! It is at Tulsa Tech - Client Service Center in Training Room 7.

Many organizations use meetings as a mechanism for facilitating communication and interactions between employees, volunteers, and customers. Inclusive meetings relate to all three dimensions of diversity – internal, external, and organizational – The presentation will emphasize ways inclusive meetings reduce bias and increase psychological safety by affecting multiple dimensions of diversity.

  • Do you want to attend meetings that maximize innovation, creativity, productivity, engagement, and relationships?
  • Do you want to attend meetings where the leader mediates and facilitates the discussion to ensure no participant dominates or derails the discussion or interrupts other participants?
  • Do you want to attend meetings where all participants understand how and when they can engage with each other?
  • Do you want to attend meetings that promote fairness and equitable treatment?
  • Do you want to lead meetings that foster environments where diverse perspectives are heard, recognized, and acted upon?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, join Linda Jenkins for Meeting Culture Matters: Strengthen Your Workplace Relationships with Inclusive Meetings. During Linda’s workshop, participants will learn:

  • The definition of inclusive meetings.
  • How inclusive meetings strengthen workplace relationships by reducing bias and increasing psychological safety.
  • The attributes of inclusive meetings.
  • Guidance on facilitating inclusive meetings to strengthen their workplace relationships.

Participants will receive the 11-page Leading Inclusive Meetings handout to help them facilitate and lead inclusive meetings in their workplace.
