The Operations Trainer is responsible for the instructional design, delivery, and continuous improvement of operational training for the Credit Union; specific responsibilities to include Loan class, Mentor program administration, quarterly operations training at branches and special projects.

Detailed Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Embody the Credit Unions core values of Trust, Integrity, Teamwork and Making a Difference and ensure that employees understand and embrace these core values.
  • Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) to gain knowledge of operational standards, systems and business initiatives.
  • Design, develop and implement operational training programs in support of the Credit Unions mission.
  • Facilitate training courses using a variety of delivery methods, including classroom, onsite, virtual and e-learning.
  • Create training resources including facilitator guides, participant guides, work step instructions, PowerPoints, and microlearning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years' experience in developing and delivering training programs preferred.
  • Experience developing and delivering training in a variety of delivery modalities, including instructor-led, virtual instructor-led.
  • Credit Union or banking experience is strongly preferred.
  • Financial industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficient or working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems (UKG), SharePoint, Camtasia, and other instructional design software.
