TAHRA Learning Labs
Unique to the Tulsa association, our Learning Labs are monthly intensive courses designed to educate and update members on details of critical issues in Human Resources. Learning Labs are submitted for review by the H R Certification Institute for possible continuing education credits for PHR, SPHR, and GPHR certifications.
TAHRA presents Learning Labs 10-11 times per year, typically on the fourth Thursday of each month. There are certain months where this date will change to avoid conflicts with other TAHRA events, holidays, etc. Specific information regarding the date, topic and presenter is posted on the website and disseminated to TAHRA members at least 30 days prior to the Lab.
Each session is an in-depth look at a specific concept, trend, practice or law.
Credentialed experts present the learning lab format for the day and deliver the topic's content.
Various teaching methods may be used in sessions, whether alone, or in combination.
Cost is $10 for Student, $15 for Member, and $25 for Guest. Members can save money by pre-paying for the Learning Labs on an annual basis.
