The HR Support Coordinator is responsible for providing broad administrative support in the areas of HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Employee Relations and Staffing. Makes non-routine choices within established precedent, considering objectives, under limited supervision. Performs intermediate troubleshooting or analysis; problems require interpretation of data using generally prescribed procedures. Frequent interaction to provide basic information and/or occasional interaction requiring detailed procedural explanations or technical responses.

Detailed Description:


  • Provide administrative support as assigned to all human resource activities to include recruitment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, compliance, and policies and procedures.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Conducts audits of benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Answer questions from applicants and generate responses concerning applicant process and/or status. Update and send weekly electronic notices to applicants to provide status of their application.
  • Provide HR support to schools by partnering closely with School Leaders; and advocate for employees.
  • Audit HR files as required.
  • Assist and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation; provide compliance support.
  • Ensure timely response to all emails sent to HR inbox; assist HR team with responding to overflow emails, as needed.
  • Schedule 60 Day New-Hire surveys and exit interviews.
  • Assist with credential and newhire onboarding.
  • Respond to Employment verifications, Unemployment Claims and Medical Support claims.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a Human Resources administrative support role.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Word, Excel, database and HRIS with the ability to develop and analyze data.
  • Must have proven successful interpersonal relationship skills to maintain effective and satisfactory working relationships with intra-department and inter-department staff, vendors, clients, visitors, and contractors.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions with ability to read, interpret, and present information efficiently and effectively.
  • Must be able to accurately audit records and ensure compliance with written or oral guidelines.
  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality of extremely sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc.?


Employee is subject to standing, stooping, walking, lifting, and carrying objects throughout daily job performance.
Work is a normal office environment.
Intermittent effort involving lifting of amounts between 5 and 25 pounds required.
Work requires moderate attention to details between 15% and 45% of the time.
Driving is required occasionally.
